Wellbeing Walks

We lead gentle guided walks around Lockleaze and Stoke Park, every week.

Do you want to go for a walk and have company? Do you want to explore some of Stoke Park and Lockleaze? Do you want to meet other people to walk with?

You are warmly invited to join our Wednesday Wellbeing Walks which are all free!

We have walks to suit different groups:

  • The first Wednesday of the month is women only.
  • The second Wednesday is accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
  • The third Wednesday is a general adult wellbeing walk.
  • The fourth Wednesday is a family walk with activities for under 5s.

Wellbeing Walks are all level, easy paced (we go at the pace pf the slowest so all welcome!) and usually about 1.5 hours to 2 hours depending on the needs of those on the walk. On the walks you may also learn more to help your wellbeing or your walking – some mindfulness practices, a little about the area or something about the nature or the sculptures.

Friendships are already being made on the walks as people find others who like to walk and socialise – so why not you too?

“Delightful walk – very informative and fun at an easy pace for my mobility”
