The Hub
The Hub (BS7 9FB) is a new building with newly refurbished reception/ lounge area made especially for community use.
It’s perfect for birthday parties, meetings, presentations and all sorts of events. An inbuilt projector and screen can be made available upon request.
Old St. James
Old St. James (BS7 9TD) is a deconsecrated church hall situated in heart of Lockleaze.
Its stunning parquet floor, stained glass window and acoustics make it perfect for birthday parties, clubs, auditions and informal gatherings.
Play Patch
Play Patch Community Soft Play (BS7 9FB) is a friendly soft play centre for under 5s and their families.
Play Patch is available to book for children’s parties and celebrations. You can also attend regular soft play sessions on weekdays.

Residents
Residents of Lockleaze area receive a discounted rate to hire our spaces for personal use.
Weekdays: £20/hr
Evenings and Weekends: £30/hr
Personal Use
Our spaces are available for personal, non-commercial use at the following rates.
Weekdays: £25/hr
Evenings and Weekends: £35/hr
Organisational Use
Our spaces are perfect for business or organisational use, including paid clubs and classes, meetings and seminars.
Weekdays: £35/hr
Evenings and Weekends: £45/hr
Keyholders receive an additional £5 per hour discount. If you’d like to hire one of our spaces on a regular basis, please contact us to enquire about becoming a keyholder.

There is a strict no alcohol policy in our venues.
Both The Hub and Old St. James are available to hire 7 days per week from 9am until 10pm latest.
To minimise disruption to our neighbours, music and use of microphones must finish by 9:30pm.
We do not provide catering but you’re welcome to bring your own food and drink. Please note we advise bringing your own crockery and cutlery.
We can provide hot drinks on request. Please be sure to add this when you make your booking.
The standard booking rate gives you access to the space itself and use of tables, chairs and access to kitchen. We have a range of other services and equipment available to hire too including projectors, music speakers and refreshments. You can add these when you make your booking online.
Yes you can! Please note we do not have a licenced kitchen for you to use so we recommend that food is cooked off site. The kitchen then can be used to reheat food in microwave and oven, but cannot prepare food from scratch.
Please note we advise bringing your own crockery and cutlery.
A member of staff to be on site for the duration of your event. This is included in the hire fee.
All set-up, decoration and tidying up time must be included in your booking time. We may have another booking immediately before or after yours so the venue must be in its original state, outside of your reserved timeslot.
We have the following additional equipment available to hire when you book one of our spaces:
- 55″ television
- PA system
- Microphone
- Large Bluetooth speaker
- Flip chart and pens
- Tea, coffee and cold drinks
