Buzz Community Garden has been looked after by the people of Lockleaze for nearly ten years. Situated behind the shops on Gainsborough Square, it’s open 24/7, creating a space of calm and relaxation in the centre of Lockleaze.
It’s been used as a classroom for gardening, landscaping and woodwork, and local people have grown 100s of kilos of food for the community. We always use permaculture growing methods- no dig, no peat and no pesticides.

Join Buzz Garden sessions every Sunday between 1pm and 3pm- updates on Love Lockleaze Facebook page. You might be sowing, harvesting, weeding, watering, or even fixing and working on the space. There is seating, refreshments, and different tasks to suit people of all ages and abilities. It’s a brilliant creative and social place to be!
