We have kicked off our Saturday Eco-Art sessions at The Buzz Community Garden, and it has been absolute magic! Everyone who has attended so far is brand new to the space, and they are already loving this little urban oasis. If you’ve never been down here, we highly suggest you come check it out!
What a typical session looks like:
The Woodland Circle: Every session starts gathered around the woodland circle where we play games and do a “nature check-in.”
Connecting with Wildlife: Last week, we learned all about different bird songs. We were even lucky enough to have our very own local robin join us for the lesson!
Natural Art & Fairy Magic: We’ve been creating some truly beautiful artwork using natural materials found right in the garden. We even built our very own fairy houses! I wonder if the fairies are home yet? When you come visit, maybe you could try and find them!
A massive shoutout to our wonderful Abi Spence, who is officially the undisputed Queen of Art!
