Art for Wellbeing

Art for Wellbeing is a friendly group to work on art together including a taught session for people with learning differences.

Do you have art materials and never get around to using them? Do you want to have a go at some art activities but need some help? Or do you want to meet other people while you have a cuppa and do your own art? Come and see what the Art for Wellbeing sessions have to offer you – and your first session is free.

There is space for people who want to bring their own art – like oil painting, needlework, mindful colouring, or knitting – there’s even a paper camel in progress.
Or you can join the led activity which is accessible for all abilities. We offer a different activity each week but it’s very flexible to you. In the past we’ve offered mandalas, mask making, collective painting, clay animals, tissue paper flowers, card making, and much more. We are always open to new ideas and techniques too.

Sessions are Thursday mornings 10.30-12.30 and £3.50 per week after your first week with tea and coffee included. Do pop in and have a look or a chat with Gail on the day – or ask any questions to gail@lockleazent.co.uk. Looking forward to meeting you!
