Wellbeing Art Group Take Bristol Ferry Trip

In March, members of the Wellbeing Art Group were lucky enough to be taken by Bristol Ferries on a wonderful trip around Bristol Dock.

The staff kindly answered all our questions before we even arrived, so that everyone who came, some who were very nervous of the water, felt safe and looked after. Chris and Dave were great and helped us safely onto the boat called Matilda. The cosiness of Matilda made it a comfortable experience even on a very windy and wet day.

We saw so much in an hour around the floating harbour that we didn’t expect. The guided tour was superb – really interesting, entertaining and engaging.

Thank you Bristol Ferries for a memorable morning – we look forward to visiting again and bringing more friends!

Art for Wellbeing is a friendly craft group with tea, running Thursday mornings at the Hub from 10:30 to 12:30.

There are two tables, one for you to work on your own projects and another where attendees are led through an art activity suitable for those with learning differences.

Art for Wellbeing is £3.50, with a free first session. Support workers come for free.
