Friendly Thursdays is a weekly craft group at the Hub, started by members of our community. It is every week on Thursdays from 1pm – 3pm.
A big part of Friendly Thursdays is sharing skills- attendees have learnt sewing, crochet, upcycling and even macrame from each other. Sewing machines and craft materials are available for you to use, or you can bring your own activities too. Board games are also available.
It’s a friendly social group with hot drinks available, lots of time for chatting, and you can even practice your English or share your language skills with others.
This is a multicultural group where refugees and asylum seekers are welcome. The venue is accessible and there are toys and colouring for children, including older children during the summer holidays.
