Calling all community organisations in Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire!
Many communities across our region want to get involved in climate and nature action – they just need the opportunity to do so. That’s why Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership are expanding their Community Climate & Nature Action Project, and they’re looking for community organisations to get involved. Taking part in this project is what allowed LNT to create Really Wild Lockleaze– it’s been transformative for our organisation, our community and our local wildlife.
The Partnership wants to reach communities who:
- Want to keep the cost of living affordable
- Cherish local nature and green spaces
- Hope for a safe, stable climate
- Want to protect their local environment in a way that works for them
Backed by the National Lottery Community Fund’s Climate Action Fund, your organisation could benefit from £30,000 and support to co-create a community climate and nature action plan with residents.
17 Bristol communities have already co-created their plans, and now are making them a reality. Could your community be next?
