Last week we were delighted to welcome residents to Buzz Community garden, as part of Bristol’s Get Growing Trail.
“Friendly place and people. The activity was a great way to break the ice and get into conversations with people. Nice to have open discussions.”
For some it was their first visit and we helped them explore and learn more about the garden, the plants and why it is such a fabulous place for workshops and nature based activity.

Residents of all ages attended to make pine cone bird feeders- sustainable, refillable, and a lot of fun to make. The squirrels love them too. Taking care of our wildlife as winter approaches is really important but can be expensive so we made the feeders as affordable as possible. Everyone was able to make two and all agreed they will make them at home through the colder months.

We love being part of this city wide celebration of all of our wonderful community growing spaces and were delighted to talk to residents about other nearby events, share the map and wish them an exciting day of exploring!
