Over the last few years our community has contributed to the Mobility Hub on Gainsborough Square- one of several across our area.
Everything was developed with WECA in response to residents’ priorities, based on codesign workshops held in 2022. People wanted to keep pavements clear with cycle racks on the square, designated bays to put rental e-scooters and e-bikes, and planters to keep cars at a safe distance. There is also a wayfinder, an amazingly useful bike pump & tool station and a water fountain to be turned on soon. Plus, there are beautiful floor and planter decals to come, which residents designed with our friends from Graft.
