Great to have Paul from Bristol Libraries in the building last week, sharing 30+ books with the community at Hubbub Cafe and Play Patch!
Paul was sharing the news about an adult reading challenge that Bristol Libraries are running this year as part of the National Year of Reading. By reading 9 books and completing Book Bingo, you’ll be in with a chance of winning a £100 book voucher! Children still have a few more weeks to complete the summer reading challenge- which you can do at the Hub.

As a reminder, the Hub is a library drop off and collection point. This means that if you have a library card, you can reserve books online/on the app at Libraries West and order them to Lockleaze Collection Point. You can also return books you borrowed at any library. We also offer print services, free WiFi and a book swap.
This visit was a great demonstration about the importance of access to trained librarians and physical books in our community. This is stressed in Our Lockleaze Community Plan, so we were delighted to be able to facilitate this visit.
