We were happy to welcome Route 101 back to Lockleaze!
This time, six members of the Route 101 finance team joined us for a community litter pick, with two local residents also getting involved over lunchtime.
Before heading out, the volunteers were invited to pop into our Hubbub Café for a cuppa and a chance to say hello.
One volunteer shared:
“Our company is just nearby, and it’s a good opportunity to understand more about Lockleaze while doing something positive.”
At a glance
- Bags collected: 4
- Area covered: Starting from The Hub on Gainsborough Square, volunteers made their way along Bonnington Walk, Constable Road, Crome Road and Landseer Avenue.
A big thank you to everyone from Route 101 and our local residents who gave up their lunchtime to help keep Lockleaze litter free and looking its best.
We’ll be joined by volunteers from Route 101 again for lunch time litter picks on 21 October and 11 November, from 12pm–1pm. Feel free to drop in and join.
