We couldn’t let Trustee Week go by without thanking our amazing board of trustees. Our board, mostly comprised of Lockleaze residents, bring really valuable insight and experience to guide our work. Our heartfelt thanks to Anna, James, Peter, Sambhavi, Bob, Jan and Ihnji for giving their time and expertise so generously.

Anna says “Being a trustee at Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust is an opportunity to help make Lockleaze the kind of place where families love to raise kids and locals can age safely and comfortably. I’m genuinely excited to roll up my sleeves, shape local projects and be an active part of the community I care about.”
You can meet our trustee team next week at our Open Day and AGM on Wednesday 12th November- see you there.
Could you be a new trustee?
Being an LNT trustee brings many benefits: contributing to the wonderful community here in Lockleaze, developing your leadership skills via training and hands-on experience, building your network, being part of the larger community, and adding power to your CV.
We’re currently looking for trustees with skills in finance/ accountancy, community development, buildings management, and social enterprise/ fundraising, but also anyone that’s passionate about our community. You might be interested in representing the interests of a particular community that you’re part of, such as a different age or faith group.
If you’re curious, do get in touch for a chat over a cuppa. If you can, coming to the AGM would be a great way to get to know the team and more about what we do.
Jan says ‘I am so grateful that LNT has given me the opportunity to contribute and feel useful and valued. I also enjoy working with a group of committed and interesting people from different backgrounds and with different skill sets’
