Thanks to Naomi for Local Yoga Sessions!

A huge thank you to Naomi, local resident and talented Yoga instructor for giving 2 free sessions of Vision Yoga to our community.

The sessions were part of our Community Ideals project where residents share their skills and talents with their community.

This is also part of our Lockleaze Together project-increasing opportunities for residents to come together to learn, connect and contribute.

We had 12 residents attend across both sessions and they all loved it.

Everyone met someone new, felt welcome and 100% left feeling better.

‘This was a very relaxing class, Naomi is an engaging instructor. I was able to share some of the exercises with my daughter when I got home too. Thank you’

Attendees shared what they had leant and what they enjoyed most about the sessions.

‘Today was my first yoga class. I learnt a lot of things about Vision Yoga and how to exercise my eyes’

‘I learnt how to look after my eyes when using a computer using various exercises and techniques’

‘Taking care of our eyes and our bodies is very important- I really enjoyed this.’
