We were super excited to attend the Watershed for the world premier
screening of Treasure? The Collection, and delighted so many of you could join us to support our incredibly talented young residents.

The group has been working with students from UWE and with the Watershed, to create a short film on a topic that concerns us all- flytipping and littering in Lockleaze. It’s something they feel very strongly about too. They wanted to create a short engaging film with a powerful message and they did exactly that!

Over the last few months they’ve learnt so many amazing new skills whilst creating the film and the students had an opportunity to apply their learning whilst helping the group through peer support and learning.
Thank you to everyone involved, it’s been a truly epic partnership of people investing in our young people. We are all incredibly proud of all the young people, especially how
supportive, considerate and respectful they are of each other. To see them watching their film on the big screen was a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
A huge shout out to our super talented group directors and facilitators Unfold Community Arts, for incorporating additions to the project when we bring in new opportunities and learning experiences through our partnerships and connections.

Thank you to the great students from UWE and to the Watershed for such a wonderful opportunity and to the Ovo Foundation for their continued support and investment in helping to ensure young people are able to take action on climate issues that affect us all.
The group is already busy creating new stop motion animations with the support of local filmmaker Ross (Wilbee Films) and yes there will be another world premier as we plan to screen the films at the Lockleaze Climate & Nature Festival on 6th June. Save the date- don’t miss out!
