Our Values
Through meeting, talking, and meeting some more, we developed these key values which residents, LNT and LNT trustees have used throughout the design and planning process.
- Community-led: We need housing that values our community’s experience and expertise. Our community understands its own needs and should be meaningfully involved in engagement and decision-making.
- Inclusive: Lockleaze is the fourth most diverse ward in Bristol and to reflect that, housing should accommodate and respond to the different needs and aspirations of the community.
- Affordable: Housing should provide secure and genuinely affordable homes that benefit the community and are good for the development of the area.
- Quality: Longevity and high standards are embedded into all designs, in order to enhance the local environment and contribute to a just climate transition through thoughtful procurement, materials and energy use.
- Nature-Connected: Housing that enhances our local ecosystem and supports nature and wildlife to flourish, as well as providing more green space for our community.
